Terms and Conditions of Service
Welcome to Muslim Ummah. By downloading, accessing, or using our web platform or mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Service. Please read them carefully.
1Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Muslim Ummah Project Team governing your access to and use of our application, website, and related digital services (collectively, the "Services"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using our Services immediately.
2App Usage & Limited License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download, install, and access the application solely for your personal, non-commercial spiritual, educational, and community use in accordance with these Terms.
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the application.
- Use the app to transmit harmful code, viruses, or spam.
- Engage in automated scraping or extraction of Quranic datasets, audio recitations, or prayer databases without written consent.
- Impersonate any person or post unlawful, hateful, or abusive content in community features.
3Prayer Calculations & Qibla Direction Disclaimer
Prayer times and Qibla compass directions are calculated using established astronomical algorithms and recognized Islamic calculation authorities (e.g., Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm Al-Qura, Egyptian General Authority of Survey).
Due to local atmospheric conditions, geographical variations, magnetic interference on mobile sensors, or local mosque adjustments, users are advised to verify timings with their local Islamic authority or mosque when exact precision is required.
4Intellectual Property Rights
The application interface, logo, design system, custom graphics, source code, and original compilation are owned by the Muslim Ummah Project and protected under copyright and trademark laws.
Holy Quran Arabic text, translations, and authentic Hadith narrations remain in the public domain or are used under open educational licenses attributed to their respective scholars and publishers.
5User Accounts & Termination
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate community rules or engage in illegal or harmful activity without prior notice.
6Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUSLIM UMMAH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
In no event shall Muslim Ummah or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or inability to access the Services.
7Modifications & Governing Law
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
